I made this mess. And for good reason. I needed to eliminate a bigger mess.
The music at church is supposed to be in a series of big binders (about 10 to 12). Unfortunately, a large segment of it is in another series of binders, these ones small, about 40 to 50 of them. After another week where I couldn't find a song I needed to play, I had had it.
Cleanup time.
So I took all those binders and emptied them of music that should have been in the big binders. After I finished doing that, I had this stack:
Which might not seem like a whole lot from this angle, but it took me about four hours to put it all away. Some of the music went into 10-year-old books. Others went into the new Spanish books. Still others went into the current bilingual books. All together, I probably put some 300-odd pages of music away. And yet there are plenty of pages that remain missing.
So I got a start toward super organizing action. I still haven't figured out what to do with all those small binders, but there's time. And it gives me a summer project: to figure out what all we actually have music-wise in the choir loft.
