We should talk more often

I'm pretty busy these days. Between little-brother wrangling, freelance editing, freelance writing, going to the gym, getting on my bicycle, playing the organ and visiting friends, I don't have a whole lot of free time.

But I do plan to post to this blog more often. The good news is that I don't have to post on the frustration of being unable to find work. Nor do I have to post about the Illinois Department of Employment Security, which is a well-intentioned but ultimately overwhelmed agency. (Though I'll keep an eye out for scammers, which more than a few people seem to appreciate.)

Instead, I can post on happy things. And whimsy. And memories. And such. And I shall. We'll catch up on the last few months.

And we'll look forward to the future, because for once, it's looking optimistic.
