I think I've noted before the frustration of applying for a job, only to find another job posting for the same job a couple weeks later.
This isn't quite the same thing, but after doing this for a while, it seems to be getting more common.
Today, I applied for a different job within the same company for which I'd already applied for a job and was REJECTED. The first time I did this was over the summer sometime, but it was a little odd doing it again today.
Of course, this time, the job requirements are a little bit more up my alley, so maybe this one will go a little better than last time. And I don't think the HR person for the first job is the same one as the HR person for the second job.
Still, it's kind of weird. But who knows? Maybe the second time is the charm.
